A foundation is a legal entity. Foundations do not have members. In principle, anyone, one or more persons, can set up a foundation. A legal person can also set up a foundation.
A deed of incorporation is required for setting up a foundation. In the deed of incorporation the name, the place of business, the objective and the decision-making method within the foundation are laid down.
After the foundation has been established, it will be registered in the Commercial Register of the Chamber of Commerce.
